STRUCTURES
From building to bridge structure design, and threshold
building inspection to forensic investigation, our Structural
Engineering department has done it all. Services
include new construction projects, specialty structures,
inspections, strengthening, technical studies, and
bridge structures. Signature design projects
include the Pompano State Farmers’ Market (Department
of Management Services), and the Lifelong Learning
Center at Florida Atlantic University. Other
projects include the forensic investigation of several
parking garages throughout South Florida, as well as
threshold inspections on the Avborne Hangar at Miami
International Airport.
C3TS’ structural engineering staff is also experienced
in the design and inspection of unconventional structures
which require special considerations and innovative
designs. These types of structures include bridge structures,
water retaining structures, cement silos, large canopies,
and floating concrete piers. Specific experience
include Crandon Park Marina and Matheson Park Marina
concrete piers, Norwood Water Treatment Plant in the
City of North Miami Beach, numerous Tarmac concrete
plants, Ft. Lauderdale Airport Pedestrian Canopy, various
pump stations for the City of Medley and City of Lauderhill,
and numerous FDOT bridges. The Structures Department
has a wealth of expertise in many areas and helps to
make C3TS a valuable asset. |
