LAUDERHILL FIRE STATION
NO. 57
Lauderhill, Florida
C3TS
was retained by the City of Lauderhill Fire Department
to provide Architectural & Engineering services to renovate an existing three story former Police Headquarters building adjacent to Fire Station No.57 and design a new building to connect the two existing buildings. The new building houses two apparatus bays.
The ground floor of the existing three story building
houses the quarters for the Fire-Rescue personnel.
The second floor contains the City of Lauderhill’s
Emergency Operations Center and Fire-Rescue Training
Facilities. The third floor provides space for the Fire
Administrations and Fire Marshal’s offices. Construction cost was $1.8 million dollars.
NORTHSIDE FIRE STATION AT MIAMI INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT
Miami, Florida
The Northside Fire Station was delivered as a Design-Build project and encompassed the design of a new 24,490 square-foot fire station at Miami International Airport. As the lead architectural designers for the fire station, C3TS worked hand in hand with the contractor, MCM Corp. in order to deliver a successful project to the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. The facility has four double bays, apparatus area, dormitories, kitchen, dinning and recreational areas, locker rooms, simulator room and two stories of offices. The fire station serves both the airside and non-airside portions of the airport along the new East/West runway at Miami International Airport. The total construction cost for this project was $3.5 million.
OAKES ROAD FIRE RESCUE STATION
Davie, Florida
C3TS
was selected by the Town of Davie to provide design
services for the Oakes Road Fire/Rescue Station. The
two-story, 15,000 square-foot station will be located
on a 1.3-acre site adjacent to SR-7. The project
includes three large apparatus bays, offices, day room,
kitchen, fitness room and sleeping quarters for the
Fire/Rescue personnel.
This station is situated
in the eastern / industrial part of the town, and architecture
of the building reflects a more industrial character. The
three story tower will serve as a beacon for the station
and its surroundings. The construction cost for
this project totaled $1.9 million.
ORCHID PARK FIRE STATION NO. 64
Coral Springs, Florida
C3TS
was selected by the Coral Springs Fire Department to
provide a Feasibility Study for the relocation of Fire
Station No. 64 to Orchid Park. The new station
provides three apparatus bays, quarters for 10 individuals,
a public meeting room, training room and other facilities. The
station is 9,996 square-feet.
Currently Orchid Park is
a passive park with a cypress hammock at the southeast
corner. In order to provide
sufficient space for the station and preserve the hammock,
the canal on the north will have to be culverted. The
construction budget for the building is $1.1 million
with an additional $500,000 for site development. |
